1 day shy of 7 months old

Eating yogurt for about two weeks now, she loves it! That, and cheerios. She has also enjoyed carrots and avocado and a little bit of frozen custard here and there.

Nora and I met up with Calliope and Becky at the Mattress Factory today. They were both a little young to fully appreciate it's awesomeness, but we enjoyed taking them and sharing it with them.

Here is a picture of Nora grabbing her foot. I still haven't caught her with it in her mouth, but she does chew on both her fingers and toes.

3 months old

Nora is grabbing her feet and chewing on her toes. I'll post a picture soon. In the meantime, here is a picture from lunch today. Silas wanted to hold Nora. Nora can also hold her head up all by herself and is getting more and more stable by the day. She sat in the 'bumbo' for the first time last week.

13 weeks old

Pediatrician appointment today. Nora weighs 10 pounds 12 ounces, that puts her at around the 27th percentile for weight. She is little, strong and healthy.

I will put up a video soon, but I just wanted to record the fact that Nora has started rolling from her back to her front!

We decided to go for a hike/run/bike ride adventure as a family for Memorial Day. First, Eric and Silas went for a run while Nora, Guthrie and I went for a hike, then Eric took Silas, Nora and Guthrie and I went for a bike ride up the Great Allegheny Passage. This was the scene I arrived back to from my bike ride.

Saturday morning in Madison, Wisconsin means a trip to the farmers market! This was the first one of the season. It was sunny, but the wind was pretty chilly. We got to visit with our friends - the Highland Beef farmers - John and Dorothy. They were the very first friends Eric and I made when we moved to Madison back in 2003. It was really wonderful to see them.
